Are you a confident accountant looking to work in a stable, community-oriented business with connections to real estate, property management, and housing? At Poolia, we are currently seeking an accountant to meet an immediate need for one of our clients.
The start date is immediate. The role may be available as an interim assignment or a consultancy position, depending on the candidate's profile and the client's requirements.
About the role
As an accountant, you will work broadly with accounting and financial flows related to real estate-adjacent operations. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in day-to-day financial work, has a good understanding of year-end accounts and reconciliations, and thrives in an organization where precision, structure, and collaboration are central.
You will become an integral part of the finance function, contributing to ensuring accurate accounting, clear processes, and efficient daily financial operations.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Regular accounting and bookkeeping
- Accounts receivable and payable
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Monthly and annual closing
- VAT and tax matters
- Financial reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Monitoring costs and revenues
- Supporting the Finance Manager, Controllers, and other business units
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience in qualified accounting tasks and who feels confident in handling all or most parts of the accounting workflow. You are accustomed to working independently, taking ownership of your areas, and ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met.
We believe you have:
- Experience with accounting, closing processes, and reconciliations
- Relevant education in economics/finance or equivalent work experience
- Good system proficiency
- Strong skills in Excel
- A solid understanding of financial processes and workflows
- Excellent command of Swedish, both spoken and written
Experience from the real estate sector, housing companies, property management, or other operations with similar financial flows is highly meritorious.
